Help is needed next Saturday 12/7 to winterize the tennis courts (take down nets, wind screens, remove leaves, etc.)
Hours will be from 9:00 – 12:00 (show up anytime during this window of time).
Rain date will be the next day same time.
Hours worked will go toward your 2014 work obligation.

Just a reminder that there is a General Membership & Election meeting tonight at the Lutz Children’s Museum at 6:00pm
There will be a general membership meeting on Sunday November 10th at 6:00pm at the Lutz Childrens Museum.
In accordance with the club bylaws, the nominating committee has recommended the following slate of candidates for the Glenbrooke Executive Board:
John Rowe – President
Carol Jablonski – Vice President
Joe Guenther – Treasurer
Doreen Campbell – Secretary
Members will be asked to vote on this slate of candidates at the November 10th meeting. The remaining board positions will be appointed by the newly elected Executive Board and will be communicated to members.

There are a few more jobs to be completed at the club to close it completely for the winter.
We need 4 to 6 people to help this coming Sunday the 20th.
Work completed on Sunday will earn credits toward your 2014 work obligation.

Buildings and Grounds
All chairs have been moved outside of the gate surrounding the pool and clubhouse area. Please stop by anytime and claim your chair by Friday. We don’t want to throw out good chairs, but we cannot store them over the winter.
Reminder: Sunday 9/8 is a work day from 9:00-4:00. Participation not only is necessary to close the club for the winter, but earns you work credits toward your 2014 season dues. All members can earn work credits except for the Jr. Sport membership (we do not charge a work fee for this membership type). If you can help on Sunday please email Patrice at email@example.com

General Membership Meeting Rescheduled – The general membership meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for sometime in October. You will receive another email with the new meeting date.
Last Day for the Pool – The last day the pool will be open is Monday 9/2 (labor day)
Chair Reminder – All chairs must be taken home by closing Monday 9/2. The club does not have room to store chairs over the winter. Any chair not removed by Monday will be thrown out.
Work Day Sunday 9/8 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Please notify Patrice if you will be helping that day – facilities You can work as few or as many hours that day for work credits. Work credits earned will be applied toward next years membership dues.
Tennis courts will remain open through October.
The pool and clubhouse will be open this week through Labor Day as follows:
Mon and Tues – 12:00 to 6:00pm
Wed thru Fri – 3:00 to 6:00pm
Sat and Sun – 12:00-7:00pm
Mon 9/2 (Labor Day) – 12:00-6:00pm
Labor Day will be the last day the pool and clubhouse are open for recreational activities. After this day, the club will only be open for cleaning and closing work activities as announced.
All chairs should be taken home by the end of the day on Labor Day – or they will be thrown out.
Sunday 9/8 is a scheduled work day from 9:00 to 4:00 – Many helpers are needed to close the club. Please email Patrice at facilities if you will be helping that day.
